Oh I see. And if you buy HGVC resale, do you still see some of those 30% off, 40% off, etc, discounts that show up every now and then?
yes. The program works exactly the same for retail and resale. The only difference is whether you get into HGV Max or not...everything else is exactly the same.Oh I see. And if you buy HGVC resale, do you still see some of those 30% off, 40% off, etc, discounts that show up every now and then?
Wow! Thanks for taking the time to post this. It really helps to understand the big picture.Another example at The District.
1 bedroom is 5,440 pts in RCI but 8,160 in HGVC...so much cheaper via RCI than getting it in HGVC. And it is outside the booking window in HGVC if you don't own there. Most Hilton Club properties have longer booking windows for those that own there.

You can stay 21 nights at The District, via RCI, for only 16,320 pts.

Basically, go to the RCI website and look at the resort directory. Is there a way for me to know all the RCI Resorts that will accept HGVC points? Is there a list/website? Just so I can see what other potential locations I would have access to
HGVC is basically the highest quality resorts in RCI. My understanding is that RCI's website may filter out some resorts that are far lower in quality, but if you call you might still be able to book them.So all those will accept HGVC points? I thought they filtered the results for HGVC
Thanks for the clarification. I was wondering how this works with family/friends. Let's say I want to give someone a couple nights of hotel, do I need to be present at the time of check-in or is it even allowed? I searched the forums but some answers were old so I'm asking in case rules have changed.HGVC is basically the highest quality resorts in RCI. You buy a guest certificate if you aren't with them and checking in the unit. Thanks for the clarification. I was wondering how this works with family/friends. That link that @GT75 has the club rules attached to one of the posts.Oh, ok. Thanks for posting that. That would be for an RCI reservation correct? How about a direct HGVC reservation? What would the Guest Cert cost?
