Hi I just noticed that I have not used my points for 2022. They will expire Nov 30. Is there any options for using these points other than make reservation and check out prior to Nov 30?

Many thanks,

Jane

Thank you! I submitted a request for David’s
Just to clarify, you can use your points to book as late as the night of November 30, check out December 1. Good luck - there’s probably not much available to book between now and then.

Can’t you deposit into interval international and have 2 years to travel with II?

Points have to be deposited at least 45 days before the end of the UY. OP is well within that deadline, so no longer an option.

I might have to look into renting one of our reservations (maybe two/big family trip planned and my husband and I have three separate reservations back to back making a long spring break trip). I have only rented out points once with the DVC Rental Store. I will ask around family or friends first and if not, see if DVC Rental store does confirmed reservations or I will try David's for the first time myself. (Due to illness).

I am not sure if we are even allowed to mention it here. Definitely not an experienced renter/have contracts, etc. First time it's happening since we joined in 2000. :(

I cancelled our first portion - Vero Beach. Rebooked to OKW - hoping OKW easier to rent than Vero. Contract signed and reservation posted. (boy they are asking a lot). I can find someone on my own also. I am keeping the second reservation until we have more results are in which won't be until after surgery. Third reservation - my daughter and family can still go. Not used to this renting. Makes me anxious.

I know I could make more $, but when I've had extra points, I just book something for 10 points/night and put it on TUG 45 day rentals for $115/night with a note: only to tuggers. It covers my annual fees and I have always gotten a tugger renter in less than a day (as it's a killer deal for them). No dealing with 3rd parties or public rentals. I know it's possible to have a deadbeat Tugger, but with someone who has had many posts, I think it's unlikely. I rented several times in Covid via Tug 45 days rental BB. Got a nice Christmas card from a family at WDW on my points.

I might put it up here soon if not rented by Christmas. It's only my second time in 23 years. Once (years ago), I rented through broker also whatever the rented wanted (I actually thought this last one was the broker/similar name). This time I rented out my reservation. So I never had a contract between two parties.

(Just read the offering of reservations here also - top line top line. Would have to be posted closer to reservation date).
