Best Certificate Exchange Story

Hello, I hope everyone’s having a wonderful week! I am getting ready to use a certificate for the grand Bliss. However, after considering the exchange fee and the resort fees, etc. I wondered if they would be a better value elsewhere. Grand Lodge on Peak 7 Breckenridge, CO -1 bedroom Aug 2022 on an AC. $15/day Resort fees.

We used one at Grand Mayan NV in early February one year. Even with the resort fee, it seemed like a good deal for peak-season NV.

We have had some great AC weeks, but they are truly hit and miss. And in 2024, it is a lot fewer locations and lower quality than I have seen in the past when we stayed at Hyatts and Marriotts. That said, there are some nice resorts available if you are patient.

Our best certificate weeks were during covid. We stayed at Marriott Ko Olina and Marriott Waiohai for about $300 per week. Both were ocean view units, in fact the Waiohai week was oceanfront. But those were definitely anomalies because of 2020.
