I am looking at a late season ski trip to Breckenridge and saw some getaways for the Gold Point Resort and Residences at Main Street Station. Has anyone stayed at either of these recently and could tell me which would be a better choice.
I have seen both but haven't stayed at either. Location-wise Main Street Station is much more convenient, walking distance to most things, including shopping, dining and ski slopes.I am looking at a late season ski trip to Breckenridge and saw some getaways for the Gold Point Resort and Residences at Main Street Station. I've stayed here a few times (at least 3). I recently started a thread in the Marriott forum comparing this property with Marriott MountainValley and Marriott Residence Inn.Residences at Main Street Station.
It should have 2 bathrooms, see floorplan.I have stayed in astudio at the Marriott in BReckenridge but was wonderign what the bed situation is in the 1 bedroom and does the 1 bedroom have 1 or 2 bathrooms.
I owned a 1 bedroom week there. It's a King size bed in the bedroom. The living room has two pull-out sofa beds. Off of the bedroom is a bathroom with both a jetted tub and a separate shower, along with a door to separate the toilet (it's a very tight fit in that tiny toilet area FYI). There is another full bathroom with a tub/shower combo off of the living room.I have stayed in astudio at the Marriott in BReckenridge but was wonderign what the bed situation is in the 1 bedroom and does the 1 bedroom have 1 or 2 bathrooms.
I quite like Marriott's sofa beds. I like firm beds and these have tempurpedic mattresses. I haven't slept on the ones in Breckenridge, but I did in Costa Rica and Orlando.instead of sofa beds
I believe murphy beds are common in some timeshare systems, Worldmark for example, but simply aren't part of Marriott's timeshare brand. Thanks the floorplan helps. Was hoping there was a murphy bed instead of sofa beds.
