Can I rent my Timeshare if It's already been deposited with Interval

Hi, I am brand new to this site as well as to timeshare ownership. I was directed to this site by a Reddit poster and I would like to know if I can rent out my 2024 Timeshare week in the Marriott Aruba Ocean Club - Gold Season if I have already deposited it with Interval. I had no idea that renting it was even an option and since I was pretty sure I would be unable to use it this year, I opted to deposit it with Interval. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Depends. If you really deposited in Interval, then you cannot get it back and rent it. However, if you have an active "request first" search in Interval using your week, then you can cancel the search, get the week back from Interval, and then rent it.

@echino - I actually deposited it. I was unaware that you could do a “request first” search and that is another very good tip, so thank you!

Another note for OP, if they match the deposit, they cannot rent that either using a guest certificate or otherwise.

As soon as you deposited it, it was available for another II member to confirm it as their Exchange, so it was likely taken very shortly thereafter.
