Geographically this is much closer to some of the main attractions and facilities of the island such as Walmart/Costco, the Kona farmers market, arguably one of the best snorkeling sights in Captain Cook and the general area is more bustling then Waikoloa Village which is more isolated. Can't speak about the resort as I have never stayed there but if free parking and no other resort fees is included also icing on the cake, great price.

Hi,

I have stayed there years ago when it was in the top tier of the Wyndham properties. The units are huge but have limited views. Interior as I recall had "Tommy Bahama" style. The pool area is close to the rocky coast upon which the resort sits. Sandy beaches are not far but you need a car to enjoy the Big Island. I will be back on the island in July and then on to Kauai, my favorite. We have four days to cover on Kauai from July 13th to the 17th, so if anyone has something that might work please let me know. Royal Sea Cliff is a great bargain at this price. John Fornal
