Hello,

I purchased 224,000 points at Waikiki Royal Garden resale. I received my first statement and all the columns are zero's except the "Other Charges." Which says I owe $271.12. I called the phone number on the bill and asked for a breakdown and they weren't able to explain it to me, but they said that my monthly bill should be $255, which is also incorrect, as it is about double what my MF and Program Fees would be monthly.

I am going on about an hour and forty five minutes being bounced around between different departments. Would Maintenance and Program fees be listed as "Other Charges?" Is this a fee I owe from the transfer of the sale? Can anybody tell me who to contact who should know?

Screenshot attached for reference.

I just double checked my latest bill, and all my normal charges (that is, maintenance and program fee) appear under "other charges." It doesn't make much sense, but it is apparently typical.

I've also had the first bill with a new resale contract be double-charged for the maintenance fees on that contract only, due apparently to when the contract transferred vs. when the previous billing cycle ended. That could be basically what's happening here, but I don't know why it's not exactly double and is only approximately double.

Double what you think your first bill should be then add something like $10 (but not exactly that) for not being on auto-bill. Is that approximately what they are saying you owe? Depending on timing of the transfer I’ve had to pay two months of maintenance fees for the first month.

That sounds exactly what I’m looking at.

Just pay it and sign up for auto-billing. Your bill should be normal next month. If it’s not then follow up.
