Pono Kai Resort unit request help?

Confirmation for Pono Kai Resort starts on Nov. 13 we will not be arriving until Nov. 16. What is the best way to handle getting the greatest unit for the 4 nights we will be using our week?
Anyway they would upgrade us to a 2 bedroom unit. Thanks for any help.
How long is the drive from airport to Pono Kai?

Make sure that you notify the resort that you will be arriving a few days late. Some resorts have a "blue-Monday" rule, that if you haven't arrived by the third day (and haven't notified them of your late arrival) from scheduled check-in, they "assume" that you are not arriving, and cancel your complete stay/reservation.

Just a "head's-up".
