Is it true that you cannot walk a reservation over the year end? Also is that the start date or end date. In other words can I start on Dec 28 with a 3 day window and walk it into the new year?

I have a similar, although not exact question. If I book a reservation, say beginning of December 28, 2024 to January 8, 2025, later, prior to 60-day check-in, I decide to only use January 5- 8, 2025. Is it allowed or I have to cancel and re-book due to cross into a new year?

yes. website now allows it.

yes, but the points will be pulled from your saved 2024 pool or 2025 / 2026 pool instead of your saved 2023 / 2024 / 2025 pool of points.
