I have also been waiting for accommodation certificates for two of my Marriot weeks. In the past, I have gotten accommodation certificates for my summer weeks in early July. This year, I was told that there hasn't been a demand yet for any of the Marriott resorts in Hilton Head or Myrtle Beach. I find that very hard to believe.

I think it is too early for us Marriott owners to panic as in the past they offered them in groups and summer usually didn't come through until July or August.

I don't know whether Marriott has something to do with II with regard to offering ACs for Marriott deposits or not. There have been posts on the Marriott board that state people who bought at a certain Marriott resort (Waiohai) were guaranteed ACs for five years if they deposited the week with II. That makes me feel like Marriott is involved somehow.

Let's just wait through July & see what happens. I do know that if I don't get an AC this year, II won't be getting my deposits. I will be looking for another exchange company.

ACs offered late...

I was told that II was not offering an AC for my July 08 Grande Ocean at this time but will be later. They are offering them for deposits for this year from now through early Oct. I'm not sure why Marriott properties seem to get their ACs so late but that prevented me from joining II and depositing at this time. It seems counterproductive b/c they are basically making it a disincentive to deposit early.

They did say they will be offering them and I should keep calling back to check.
