HVC/Diamond - Right of First Refusal?

We are interested in giving away our annual deeded ocean-view week at Ka'anapali Beach Club. Does anyone know whether Diamond/now HVC exercises Right of FIrst Refusal? Not sure if it matters, but we bought this resale in 2003 back when it was still Embassy Vacation Club - the original owners bought it from the developer in 2001. As I haven't been able to find any information online, my assumption was No. Was hoping someone had direct experience. Thanks!

I believe I heard that for developer purchases that old they (Diamond/HVC) don't have ROFR rights anymore.

For anyone else who might be interested, we spoke with a company that specializes in timeshare resales in Hawaii (timeshareresaleshawaii.com) and they confirmed that for our unit, there is no longer any ROFR (i.e. their ROFR is expired). Just wanted to share this information.

HVC: The Point at Poipu, 3 deeded weeks, 1 of which is in The Club.

I've talked to the people at Timeshare Resales Hawaii several times and was impressed with their knowledge. I did try to buy from them once, but the sale fell through because of the seller. The agent still did a good job handling it. Wally Akuna, one of their agents in Maui, has passed away, but he used to send out a very informative newsletter about what was happening on Maui.

Have you listed it in the TUG Marketplace? We purchased a couple KBC deeded weeks there and I don't think there's any current listings.
