This post is not directly related to timeshare but could be helpful before visiting Canada if you do an exchange to a Canadian resort (especially to Quebec) with your timeshare if you want to test your oral comprehension skills of both Canadian languages.

2 years ago CBC/Radio-Canada created a free application (mauril) to help Canadians learn/improve French and/or English oral comprehension using CBC/SRC video content focused on the rich cultural diversity of Canada.
You watch a little short video and after that the application asks you some questions with answer choices to see if you have understood.

mauril is available on IOS and Android and also on the web at https://mauril.ca/en/

I tried it on Android for both languages.
On Android (probably IOS too) we can skip the creation of an account but with the web version, we can't.

Have fun testing your oral comprehension skills of both languages.

Users outside Canada must use a VPN to unlock the video content because as per the FAQ, the video contents are not available outside Canada.

What an awesome post...thank you. I volunteer with a group of newcomers and I tried out the app myself. The beginner section was pretty awesome...just right for my group.
