West 57th Owners' Lounge Update

Just returned on Monday from a long weekend in NYC at W57. The lounge has been updated with new furniture, inside and out. Here are a few pics I took. Note that the weekend was grey and rainy, so not the best pics.

They served chicken fajitas that night.... first time I have ever been there for chicken fajita night! Also, it was 44 degrees outside and I was still outside even though we had to dry off the chair and table

We are going at the end of March and looking forward to the new decor. We simply love that lounge.

Oh that looks lovely! I complained to them that they need to improve their wine game. What they served could be bought at trader joes for $5. I want something more elevated than an executive lounge.

I didn't pay attention to the wine bottle labels, but they had a Chardonnay, Pinot Grigio, Pinot Noir, and a Cabernet this past weekend.

My wife and I are staying there in September through a VIP Package we bought at our last vacation presentation. Would we have access to the owner's lounge through that package?

While true they only offer it to owners of the property they are pretty lose on that. If they think you are interested at all in the property or sign up for a "update" they will throw the lounge access at you. Can't hurt to ask. I don't own there and have probably stayed there now 4 times and I think all but one time I was able to work the lounge access fwiw.

Agree, and they are painful especially out of New York. Last time I wouldn't sign up but still go access through my brother who own at 57th.

We had two recently just to get the $250 in Elevated Rewards dollars. The longest was 30 minutes, total. The other was about 15 minutes. And most of it was chit-chat. Very easy.

You got off easy, I did one years back and was told it would be an hour and ended up being 2 hrs. It was so painful my said she will never do them again and we haven't. We did get at least $250 in restaurant credit back then. Since we were newbies they went through the whole deal. We probably could have cut the time down but we didn't know any better back then.
