We have to plant our own color in the AZ desert. Pink muhly grass, the fronds grow out in late October. Mid 80's today, and possible rain Wednesday, Thursday. Weather people get very excited when rain might arrive.
Here in Vermont for the holiday week. Caught these views yesterday and today. First one is in Vt on our way from NH yesterday. Second one is an alpen glow view when taking a walk at our timeshare today.
grey. it is grey here. we are not in storm path so maybe it is clouds with that crap flying on by overhead to dump nastiness on others. chilly, but that's expected.
The weather report this morning for Oregon was filled with warnings - get there by noon or stay home! Chains, you need tire chains! Prepare, prepare...
Over 20” of snow at Estes Park, CO overnight. We made it home on last shuttle from DEN after long trip. Our neighbor commented “not a single flake while you were gone”. Pity.

We're at 14-15" just north of you 40 miles. Shoveled my driveway several times today just to keep up, but it has (thankfully) stopped snowing here now (a little after 2PM).
Younger daughter put on a long sleeve t-shirt. I told her you better go check the the weather. It was 76 degrees this afternoon. Last week I was wearing turtle necks and we turned on the heater. Today everyone was shopping for thanksgiving dinner in shorts and we ran the a/c. Welcome to central Texas.
very windy here in middle America. Taking care of the leaves for me, blowing them to the woods. yay!
My hunch was correct, to get my errands done early, as trees are falling and power outages are happening. We are not in for the winter storms, best of luck to those who are getting the winter pounding.
I didn't go outside much today because of the cold and wind. They say we had a bomb cyclone. Never heard of this. We must have been in the middle because the wind blew in all directions around us and kept the snow in a circle pattern about 3 miles out. Wrecks everywhere.
I will be getting back to something like this next week.
